Good morning Pastor Behan here: I just wanted to give you a thought for today as we quarantine ourselves indoors. Sometimes it may feel that we are disconnected from friends, family, loved ones, the world, or even God, But God is the one Person that we are never far from. Sometimes even the small things He does let us know He is there and still cares. Yesterday I needed to open the gate to my property to check the mail. My key was missing and after searching all day to know avail, I finally broke down and asked Jesus to help me find it. Just a few minutes later my son found the key under the dryer in the laundry room. I knew it was God that helped me in that instant. Tearfully I thanked Him for showing me that He still cared. I said all this to say to you DO NOT DESPAIR this too shall pass and God is in control. How many of us have said more prayers, spent more time on our knees. or thought about His presense in our lives more. This is a test and the teacher is always silent during the test so have hope and just stay close to God. Talk to him as you would a friend for he is there with you always. David said it like this.Psalms 139:7-12 "7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee." KJV
Lord Jesus put a hedge around our property, our homes, and our family and keep us safe. In jesus name we pray. Amen
